Summary
When she was twelve years old, Kirra Mandarian's parents were murdered, and she barely escaped with her life. She assumes the identity of E.N. - Eliot Ness - and gathers proof to bring down the man she believes is responsible. Seh quickly learns big-time criminals are very dangerous indeed and reaches out to Dillon Savich. He brings in Special Agent Griffin Hammersmith to work with Lieutenant Jeter Thorpe, a young detective in the Porte Franklyn Police Department who'd saved Kirra years before. Emma Hunt, a twelve-year-old piano prodigy and the granddaughter of powerful crime boss Mason Lord, was only six years old when she was abducted and later saved by her adoptive father, San Francisco federal judge Ramsey Hunt. When Emma saves herself from another abduction attempt at Davies Hall in San Francisco, the would-be kidnapper escapes. Even though Emma's family is worried for her safety, they still decide to travel to Washington, D.C., for Emma's performance at Kennedy Center.
