- Summary
- "When Steve Trevor goes missing from a top secret military mission, Wonder Woman travels to the war-torn country of Durovnia to reclaim him. There, on the front lines, she encounters a familiar face -- or rather, an unfamiliar one. Her enemy Ares, god of war, former prisoner of the Amazons, is in Durovnia as well, but he has been utterly transformed, inside and out. Ares claims he now wants only to aid Diana in the struggle against tyranny, but should she trust him? Meanwhile, Steve encounters a second earthbound Olympian: Aphrodite. Can even the goddess of love help broker peace in a place so filled with hate?"--Inside book jacket
