Summary

Henry Huggins wants a new bicycle more than anything--a shiny red bicycle that will make even Scooter McCarthy sit up and take notice. Since money doesn't grow on trees, Henry starts a bicycle fund and enlists neighborhood pal Beezus Quimby for help. But somehow Henry and Beezus's attempts to earn money don't work out quite as planned. Selling bubble gum on the playground lands them in trouble with the teacher, and bidding at a bike auction results in losing Beezus's little sister, Ramona. Still, no matter what they get into, Henry's lucky to have Beezus by his side. Beverly Cleary portrays a genuine friendship while she tells a very funny story boys and girls alike will enjoy
