For ordinary muchachas. Jaquira Díaz has always found himself between extremes in places permeated by violence. Despite hoping to have a united family and a safe home, these were difficult to achieve living below the poverty levels in the Padre Rivera village in Puerto Rico and in Miami Beach, especially after the diagnosis of schizophrenia of her mother and her subsequent one family breakup.
