Summary
The Art of Ann Templeton explores the world of renowned artist and teacher Ann Templeton. With over 100 full-color images, the book illustrates her use of materials and techniques, her travels and her approach to workshops, as well as her take on what it is to live the life of an artist. Additional material from her mentors, artists William F. Reese and Walt Gonske, further illustrates the life of this complex artist. Primarily a plein air painter, Ann Templeton developed techniques over 30 years of painting to capture the landscape quickly and to interpret it with her unique vision of color and design. She has introduced many students to her award-winning technques in workshops she has taught in the U.S. and other countries. She is a signature member of the Knickerbocker Artists, USA and the Pastel Society of America. She is the co-founder of Alla Prima International and a member of many other art organizations. Her work is represented in galleries across the country
