Summary

A homage to 60's rock group The Doors. Doubles as a biography of the group's late singer, the 'Electric Poet' Jim Morrison. Follows Jim from his days as a film student in Los Angeles to his death in Paris in 1971, at the age of 27. Shown as a shy, though often obnoxious and crude, persona. He was a man who is fascinated with death, with man's will to have power, and how life gets very painful without the chemicals to open the mind
